I've been watching the Today Show this morning and they've been featuring the new Georgia Aquarium. It opens on November 23rd and will be the world's largest aquarium. Check out the stats of the main tank:
1) Holds 6.2 million gallons of water
2) Measures 263’ long x 126’ wide x 33’ deep, at its largest points
3) Main viewing window is 61' wide x 23' high x 2' thick
4) Holds 100,000 animals representing 500 species from around the globe
I've never been to Atlanta, but it looks like it might be time to make trip!

That sounds like a good enough reason to go. I have never been there either. I think me and the wife will probably make it to Sea World in San Diego before Atlanta.
