I saw Junebug this weekend. I agree with you about Amy Adams and her character Ashley. The only thing I really wish they would have done with the movie is spent a little more time with Johnny and George's relationship. You can figure out why there is a rift between the two but I wish the director would have rewarded his audience with some more insight.
I agree with you that the Johnny/George relationship could have used a little more development. I hope that overall, however, you liked the film! It must be difficult when writing/directing a film to fit in everything you want to make all the characters fully developed. I'm going to have to watch the movie again before the Oscars, since it has been a bit since I first saw it.
I did like it, but I would have liked it more if they had some more character development. I also wish they would have added subtitles because I had a hard time understanding Johnny some times especially when he and Madeline were working on his book report.
